Finally, the much-awaited notification of UPSC IAS is out and this is the time that we rush to fill the online examination before it gets too late. UPAS conducts common pre-examination for Indian Administrative Services and Indian Forest Services every year. IAS is the most prestigious exam in the country where more than five lakh students try at their luck after rigorous preparations.
The exam has three tough stages where candidates are tested in almost all streams of life including the interpersonal skills, social skills and other such skills.

The first stage is the pre-examination which consists two papers, one compulsory GENERAL STUDIES paper, which goes onto deciding the cut off of the examination and the other CSAT exam which one needs to qualify with minimum passing marks. This stage is objective.

The second stage is subjective and one has to appear in two optional papers with other General Studies papers and compulsory language paper.

The last stage is the interview once one has passed the last two stages successfully. Only the one standing in merit consisting the marks of mains exams and interview clubbed together, makes it to the final list. This leads to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie.
